How it all started...
Like most writers, I was a voracious reader. By the age of twelve I knew I wanted to be a writer. The person who held the magic, the secret knowledge of storytelling. Celtic mythology, fantasy, paranormal, suspense and historical books have always been my favourite genres to read. You'll find a combination of these in my stories.
Writing Influences
My love of things paranormal probably started with watching the television series Dark Shadows and Bewitched. The legends of King Arthur and the Knights Templar are other areas that interest me. When I started learning about my ancestry history suddenly became personal and I looked at it with a different point of view.
I love my Celtic ancestry. Clan MacGregor, Clan Crawford, as well as royal lines of England, Scotland, and the Carolingian Dynasty.
My love of cooking and hot tea turned into my first cookbook, The Scottish-English Texan: 56 Teatime Recipes.
